Sojourner is a senior researcher at the W. E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research. His research focuses on (1) effects of labor-market institutions, (2) early childhood and K-12 education systems to promote efficient, equitable development of human capital, and (3) behavioral economics in consumer financial decisions.
